The PS5 being the problem actually has an extremely easy solution. Just go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > and then turn HDR to Always On.
1. Go back to the Settings menu by pressing the Options button and then selecting Settings. 2. Next, you need to select Controller Remapping. 3. After you arrived at the Controller Remapping menu, scroll down to the Touch Pad Shortcuts section. 4. You can then set the following options to HUD: Swipe Up.
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings. The game had one of the worst HDR implementation with its initial release (washed out/wrong colors and wrong gamma) but after 1 year and a half since release things noticeably improved with Patch 1.5 (and free Next-Gen consoles Upgrade) and now with even more in-game HDR controls starting with Patch 2.1
Spiderman handles 40 fps far better than God of War Ragnarok. Ragnarok 40 fps uncapped is good but sometimes the fps count drops below 40 fps it seems as I was able to observe some stutters. BUT, finally, I mostly play on 4K 30 fps fidelity mode for maximum graphics and resolution quality and yet I can enjoy a smoothness of 60 fps with my TV's
Ragnarok on highest quality is 4K 30/40 with true HDR implementation and presumably the highest possible settings (we will find out for sure when pc version comes out). As someone who has played both (on a pc at highest settings 4k etc no DLSS) I can safely say PS5 ragnarok edges it - but mainly due to the HDR being better and just general
