So you can run VFD from 480 and supply 380. 50 Hz. If you wanted simple, it might be possible to change the motor pulley to 5/6 the present size, and run direct from 480 60Hz. The motor will be OK with that, it's just changing the rpm back to the 50Hz rate.

With a very simple logic for a motor load - more is voltage more is the current. More is frequency less is the current. Perhaps you don't need to change any thing if the machine is made of motors and transformers, (no heaters and bulbs etc), and this machine would work fine on 480V 60Hz,in case it has bulbs and heaters etc you can separate out them and heaters run with separate line coming

If you can connect the 380v motor for delta it will run fine on 208. It's a little low so don't overload the motor. You will have slightly better luck running the motor on 208 connected delta than you will running it at 340 volts from a 480v vfd fed from single phase 347.
This is exactly what will happen in this case. It will run with following problems for a 50Hz motor running on 60Hz: The core loss will increase and cause over heating of core. As the core loss will increase, the Power Factor of motor will reduce. The motor speed will be higher, so shaft load will increase. Motor will be overloaded at rated load.
